Seattle Beginning Experience

Seattle Beginning Experience...

Beginning Experience is an international support program for divorced, separated and widowed individuals, and their families to facilitate the resolution of the grief surrounding the end of a marriage/relationship and to promote healing. We offer programs to help grieving single-again persons emerge from the darkness of grief into the light of a new beginning, and move into the future with renewed hope. These programs help deal with the natural grief process and offer an opportunity, through God, for turning the pain of loss into an experience of positive growth. The key program is a Beginning Experience Weekend that runs from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon in a beautiful camp setting at Huston Camp and Conference Center in Gold Bar. Support and growth classes are also offered at various times throughout the year and include Coping, Encountering Life Alone, Continued Beginnings, Rebuilding After Your Relationship Ends, and Happiness is an Inside Job.

Announcement

Scott Truit, brother of Gail Truit (former Seattle BE president) has started a campaign to show military personnel appreciation for their service. It is to tell people to use the American Sign Language gesture for "Thank You from the bottom of my heart". It is not political, people are encouraged to do so regardless of how they feel about the war. It is simply to show appreciation for their service. Here is the link to the news story by KOMO-4.
